Sent in my 48" level for warranty
I recently had to send in my 48" Stabila level for warranty. I went to my local tool store and asked about an exchange, and the employee said Stabila no longer offered exchanges through the store, and I had to go directly through Stabila.
I contacted Stabila through their website and their CS rep emailed me back explaining the process to send it in. It was simple, I had to package it and send to to Stabila where they would evaluate it within 48 hours and then send a replacement if it the problem was covered by their warranty. Everything went smoothly except for the fact that I had to pay $20 for packaging and shipping to Stabila. Paying to send something in is the norm these days, but I still dont like it.
It took about a week for the level to reach Stabila, they had it for a couple days and it took about another week for it to get back to me. I would have liked faster shipping, but I wasn't working anyways so I was not at a loss.
