Ryobi jobsite radio

I own this radio from Ryobi. I also own the cordless fan( Which runs about 6 hours on high, BUT IT!!!)

I also own a DeWalt radio.. The Ryobi radio is not as loud as the DeWalt but it is plenty loud. It is small enough to throw in a tool bag and runs for the better part of a day on a battery that will not drive any more screws.

It has a dial that includes zeroes eg. 89.0 FM. This is good when using the AUX switch to channel an ipod through the radio. I've used this radio with an ipod transmitter attached to a laptop computer to watch movies and the sound quality is excellent.

The only con is the antennae( like most cordless radios), however when a piece of wie is wrapped around the antennae( eg. ceiling wire, copper wire, tie wire) it performs well even in a concrete and steel building.

It costs about $25 at Home Depot with out the battery or charger and is well worth the money. It DOES NOT charge tool batteries, but a good tool none the less.

Pros
small, loud and inexpensive
Cons
antennae needs some work, not a battery charger
