New Dremel Cutting Knife And Drywall Jab Saw Blade For Oscillating Tools

Dremel has come out with a couple of new oscillating tool accessories that really expand the versatility of oscillating tools and should give you even more chances to use the Multi-Max on your projects. Both new accessories move away from the standard push blade model and instead cut when you pull the tool.

Oscillating tools are already excellent at cutting drywall but they are not really that great at cutting curves in drywall. To address that problem Dremel has come out with the new MM435 Multi-Max Drywall Jab Saw Blade. The MM435 has a pointed blade that extends out at a right angle which allows the blade to cut more like a traditional drywall jab saw. It pointed tapered blade also makes it possible for the blade to cut tight radius curves.

Oscillation tools are also touted as being able to help you remove carpet and cut through linoleum, and while they do help with the process, the current blades left room for improvements. Well, it looks like the MM430 Multi-Knife is the improvement that Dremel has come out with. It features a hook on one side that can be used to pull cut materials like carpet, vinyl, cardboard, shingles, insulation, and plastic. The blade also features a smaller hook on the other side that can be used to push cut the same materials.

Also note that with an adapter you could use these blades on other brands oscillating tools.
