Hello this is Chris with Toolrank.com and today I'm taking a look at the Bosch L-Box
0:06
II and how I'm going to be using this as part of my 72 hour kit build. In some of my past videos we talked about knives and flashlights and some pretty cool stuff
0:15
This one is not as exciting and it's mostly just about essential things that you need
0:20
Maybe not exciting but they are essential. So I'm using this one for some of the daily stuff that you would need
0:27
We got napkins, porks and knives, can opener. Even though my main food supply doesn't have any cans
0:34
obviously you would have cans in your house that you might be able to use in case you might be able to reach
0:41
So we got a can opener, knives, napkins. We got soap so you can stay clean, you want to stay clean
0:52
We have some water purification tablets. I've got a small pond in the backyard. If we really needed to we could use that and use the water purification tablets
1:02
Also we have gallons of water stored. We got toothbrushes to stay clean You want to have those This is a little stove that unfolds
1:38
See if I can get this together. Folds up like that, a little stove and you can put a fuel source in here, one of those
1:45
little fuels or you know you could even build a small fire underneath it if you have to
1:52
Folds up pretty small. So it folds up pretty small in the pit center here
2:02
We got these plastic bowls. These are made by Rubbermaid, they're pretty good
2:08
Reusable, you can rewash them, rinse them out, use hot water. And we've got plates, again, plastic plates, really strong
2:19
And these should last And you saw in my other video I had those little cooking pots they about this big cooking pots and cups so we use that I keep those in the other one
2:32
with the food just because they fit in there nicely in case anything becomes separated you want to have something to cook in
2:39
Toothpaste, you got that in here and we got these titanium fork spoon combinations. I
2:51
I wrote about these in the past on the Tool Rink blog. They make good work
2:55
lunch utensils and when you take them to work you have one that fits all these are
3:02
really super light made out of titanium made by Light My Fire
3:06
they got a spoon on one end, fork on another end and it's even got a little serrated knife. You can see that
3:21
So these are pretty cool. I think you're going to get a couple more of these
3:25
These cost around 12 bucks each but if you think about it
3:30
versus maybe four of these versus a bag full of utensils I think it be really handy And like I said these are super light they are titanium really strong you know you
3:45
can use them heat resistant and all that. So you want to check these out
3:53
So like I said this is pretty basic stuff that you should have. Toothbrushes
4:03
These are electric ones but I think I'm going to replace them with just regular toothbrushes
4:10
and eating utensils. I guess we got the coast knives in my toolbox we can use if you need to cut some food open
4:25
or cut some packaging or whatever. Cut open some food. I got the can opener for cans
4:31
So this is really basic stuff you should have in your 72 hour kit
4:36
Make sure you check out the 72 hour kit build and this is just one part of the whole system
4:40
that I'm using the L-Box system that's completely stackable. So be sure to check it out on the website and see the other videos
