Bosch is king when it comes to laser distance measurers, offering a range of models starting with basic distance measuring for under $50 all the way up to models with Bluetooth app connectivity that allows users to make floor layouts. Their newest models take things to the next level by offering a measuring range of 400-feet with pinpoint 1/16-inch accuracy.

Measuring to 400-feet is one thing, but at that great a distance, how do you know the laser is hitting precisely where you need it? Bosch's has a couple of solutions that they use in their new BLAZE Outdoor Connected Laser Measure lineup.

Model: GLM400C features a viewfinder that can be used to make sure your aim is on point. It runs off of three AA batteries and includes a pouch and carry strap. The price is listed as $229.

Model: GLM400CL uses something a little more modern, a 5.0-megapixel camera with 8x zoom; so you can see what you are doing right on the color screen. You can even save and transfer photos from the measurer over USB. This model runs off of an internal lithium-ion battery that charges via the USB port. Includes a USB charger, cable, pouch and carry strap. The price is listed as $299.

Both models offer various measuring modes like real-time length, area, volume, indirect measuring functions and built-in inclinometer. Both models also include Bluetooth connectivity that works in conjunction with Bosch’s MeasureOn app. The app can be used to store your measurement data as well as build floor plans.
