Black+Decker will be coming out with a pair of new 40V MAX (LCS1240) and 20V MAX (LCS1020) Lithium-Ion cordless chainsaws this November that they say provide the “convenience of cordless maneuverability” with “performance for cutting through dry wood and live logs”.

Black & Decker has just announced their new Matrix Multi-Head modular tool system which will allow users to build up their tool inventory one head at a time. Users will also be able to select the power of the new system by selecting one of three power base units.

If you have done any reading on the purposed Saw Stop mandate, you have probably noticed that most of the article writers are against it. It is not that we are against safety, we just don't like being told what to do, let alone by politicians that have probably never even used a table saw. Popular Woodworking broke some pretty interesting news on Friday, that I am sure has a lot of people wondering what is going on. It turns out that Stanley Black & Decker will be selling the Delta brand to a Taiwanese company called TOTY and it will be renamed Delta Power Equipment.
