New Husqvarna SmartSwitch Keyless Riding Mowers

In response to user demand, Husqvarna is introducing a new SmartSwitch operator interface on select RZ series Zero Turn Mowers and GT series garden tractors. One key feature of SmartSwitch equipped Husqvarna mowers is that they do not require any keys.

People asked that Husqvarna make their riding mowers easier to start, so they gave them a system that is completely keyless. But don't worry, your mower is till protected by a programmable access code. Doing away with keys also eliminates the possibility of draining your battery dead by leaving the keys in the ignition. After a period of inactivity the SmartSwitch will automatically shut down the system.

Keyless start is great, but the SmartSwitch offers much more. With indicators lights and buttons for all the key functions, the system will indicate that you need to apply the parking brake before starting, or that you should to disengage the cutting deck before you start to cut in reverse. Even if you forget to disengage the cutting deck, the system will do it for you.

There might still be snow on the ground where you live, but SmartSwitch equipped Husqvarna Riding Mowers are available now. And Spring is just around the corner.
