Almost don't wanna use it! I am using a diff blade than the 75 anniv one because it's too nice to mess up... Love it ![]()
Skilsaw Model 77 Celebrates 75 Years With Special Anniversary Editionhttp://www.tool-rank.com/media/listing/videos/thumbnail/300x300s/4f/a8/b5/WisVS8Eb_nc.jpgHot

Skil introduced the Model 77 Skilsaw in 1937 and I imagine the saw played a large part in the rebuilding of America following the years after the Great Depression. 75 years later and the Skilsaw Model 77 is still around and we are going through what seems like another depression.
While the bad economy might not be something to celebrate, a tool that has lasted 75 years is, and a special edition saw is the way to do it. Skil is also commemorating the occasion by commissioning a custom chopper from Paul Jr. Designs. A second bike will also be made and auctioned off to raise money for the Home Depot Foundation, non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that every veteran has a safe place to call home.
The Anniversary Edition Skilsaw Model 77 (MAG77-75) retails for about $190 and is only $20 above the regular 77, so the extra price might be worth it for the cool factor. Besides the custom black fleck paint finish, the saw also features a chrome aluminum foot plate, 75th anniversary name plate, and 75th anniversary saw blade.
