Channellock Announces New Made In the USA Screwdrivers

Known for their high quality pliers, which have been made in America since 1886, Channellock has announced that they are coming out with a new line of high quality screwdrivers that meet the needs of professionals. Best of all, they too will be made in the USA and assembled in their Meadville, PA factory.

“With the introduction of our new Professional Screwdrivers, we are able to deliver a better-designed, higher quality tool to our customers, while bringing screwdriver production back to the United States,” said Ryan DeArment, vice president of sales and marketing at Channellock Inc. “Anytime we can do that, we consider it a step in the right direction for our company, our customers and American manufacturing in general.”

The initial screwdriver line will include 46 different tool offerings including a 6-in1 multi-bit driver as well as individual Slotted, Phillips, Torx, and Nut Drivers in standard sizes. All the drivers feature impact & solvent resistant acetate handles made from wood fiber. The shafts are precision-machined, heat treated, and chrome plated for durability and corrosion resistance.
