Johnson Billet Torpedo Levels

Johnson has come out with a couple of new torpedo levels designed to meet the specific needs of tradesmen. These 6-inch and 9-inch levels are not your typical plastic torpedo levels but instead are machined out of solid aluminum and offer other professional features.

They might be called levels, but with four vials set a 0°, 30°, 45° and 90° angles, you can also set things precisely out of level. A built in v-groove and magnetic edge should make it simple to pitch your plumbing in the right direction. The 6-inch (no. 1411-0600) and the 9-inch (no. 1411-0900) are nearly the same, the only difference being that the 6-inch has a "no dog" feature that allows it to be clamped onto the end of electrical conduit for performing angled bends.

"The contractors who trust Johnson need their levels to be durable and to have maximum accuracy. Our new billet levels have a precision-machined solid aluminum frame with machined vial openings to assure the highest accuracy. The four green vials on each level are extremely easy to read and better than any vial on the market," said John Dwyer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Johnson Level.

Both models are expected to retail for about $35

These look like copies, or exact copies of Klein Tools levels.

Do you know what the country of origin is? These look like Checkpoint levels, which I believe are no longer made in USA. :(
