I ordered a Natural Gas portable heater (100K BTU Natural Gas Convection Portable Heater model: Mi-T-M MH-0100-CM1N) that indicated in the produce description that it included a 10' supply hose and regulator (by the way, you don't need a regulator if hooking up to home NG line), which after a call to the manufacture I discovered that it in fact does not. I looked at several other listings for this product on other web sites and they to indicate that it included a hose and regulator so I do not fault ToolBarn for this. Mi-T-M Corporation claims they will be making the correction to this products description. To purchase a quick disconnect hose would run about $50-$60 which I did not feel like spending so I decided to return the product. I was pleased with how the customer reps from ToolBarn handle the return of the product and refunding my Paypal account. Although this was not a positive purchase for me I was very impressed with the customer service I received. I would not hesitate to use ToolBarn again in the future.

Accuride also makes other products and many of them use their glide technology. One of their other products is keyboard trays, and their CBERGO-TRAY 300 is why I turned to Accuride customer service.

I have owned and used the TRAY 300 for a number of years now and I really love the design and how well it works. However, over the years the gel wrist pad on the keyboard tray has been deteriorating and leaves a sticky residue on anything that touches it. I finally got to the point where I needed to fix this and figured I would just cover the area with some duct tape, but then I thought I would email Accuride and see how much a replacement would cost. After sending a short email explaining the issue, I received a reply asking for my address so they could send one to me, no question asked.

Accuride glides come with a limited life-time warranty, but it is clearly stated that the warranty does not cover CBERGO-TRAY keyboard systems, which are covered by a separate 5-year warranty. Either way, Accuride offers great products with a great warranty, and they stand behind their stuff.

Thanks Accuride

I could not seem to find them anywhere until I found them at ToolBarn. Years ago I was looking for a place to buy the Flexeel air hoses. Again nobody had them in stock except for ToolBarn. TB even sells the fittings for the flexeel hoses. If it wasn't for the price of shipping, I would probably buy from them more often. Also, some items are not in stock and take an extra 10-14 to ship.

I went to my local tool store and asked about an exchange, and the employee said Stabila no longer offered exchanges through the store, and I had to go directly through Stabila.

I contacted Stabila through their website and their CS rep emailed me back explaining the process to send it in. It was simple, I had to package it and send to to Stabila where they would evaluate it within 48 hours and then send a replacement if it the problem was covered by their warranty. Everything went smoothly except for the fact that I had to pay $20 for packaging and shipping to Stabila. Paying to send something in is the norm these days, but I still dont like it.

It took about a week for the level to reach Stabila, they had it for a couple days and it took about another week for it to get back to me. I would have liked faster shipping, but I wasn't working anyways so I was not at a loss.

Many of these battery places are impossible to get on the phone and are slow to answer emails. MTO has always replied to emails in just a few hours and always answers or quickly returns my call.

I had tried another company who has a video on YouTube which displays guys dancing around like folks from the movie jackass. I was not impressed with their service and turn-around time and their video was just further proof of the type of people their company is made of.

In closing, MTO is a professional battery company which has done a fabulous job rebuilding our power tool batteries and an even better job taking the time to communicate with me to keep me informed each step of the process. They get my unconditional recommendation for anyone with battery repair needs.

The store is pretty big, and they have the big name tools separated in sections by Manufacturer. This makes it really easy to find a tool if you are shopping by brand. They also have a nice 20% off sale twice a year, with reps and demos from most of the major brands. During these sales is when I buy most of my tools from them. Their tool selection is also good, but they don't have everything. I am disappointed they do not carry Vix-Bits, Flexeel hoses, and some other things. They do carry shop tools, if you need them.

There is always someone there ready to help if you need it, and I have found them to be knowledgeable.

They are also an authorized repair center for just about every brand. While I have not had anything repaired by them, I have purchased tool parts from them.

The batteries that I have had rebuilt by MTO have surpassed the quality of the original tool batteries. I was getting about a year out of my OEM Milwaukee batteries. I am now going on three years with my rebuilds. They show an increase in run time also, with the heavy duty rebuilds they offer.
A great reason to resurrect your ancient cordless tools, if for nothing else, to use as loaners.
I hope they take up rebuilding Lithium ions
