Milwaukee's Heavy-Duty 18 gauge Brad Nailer has a powerful oil-free motor eliminating daily oiling and potential work surface contamination. Its ultra lightweight magnesium housing minimizes fatigue, and its ergonomic grip and balance combined with its compact size offers great control and maneuverability. Its reload indicator prevents missing nails in trim work and damage to finer woods. The textured selectable trigger lets you choose sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. The spring loaded magazine allows fast side loading and unloading of fasteners and holds 106 brad nails in 5/8 in. to 2-1/8 in. lengths. The self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The adjustable rear air deflector with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area and holds down the noise. An adjustable and removable belt hook provides convenience for carrying. The tool-free depth of drive adjustment provides precise depth control. A tool-free jam release allows for quick access for clearing occasional jams.

never jamb yet

This gun shoots brads flawlessly. Nail heads set well even in hard woods. The gun is easy to load. I've loaded it many times with one hand while holding up some crown molding with the other, (oops, should have been keeping an eye on the load gauge.) This gun has a anti-dry fire feature but leaves a few nails from the last rack, (not good). Sometimes a bit tricky if you are angling your nails because of the safety.

Pros
very reliable
Cons
safety

nice little nailer

I don't do much small/trim work, so I have not really given this tool a thorough shakedown. I bought this nailer to check out the Milwaukee line of nailers, it seems I made a good choice. this nailer had done everything I've asked of it. Works well in both hard and soft woods, is fairly easy to adjust, takes a wide range of fasteners, and hasn't jammed on me yet.

Pros
Light weight.
Cons
Plastic magazine, made in Taiwan.

Great quality light weight gun.

I just love this nail gun. It is very light, but very strong at the same time. This is because of the magnesium housing. I think the most handy part of this tool is the rotating belt hook. It rotates, but it stays where you want it. Works good for right handed people as well as left. Another great feature is the adjustable rear air deflector. You don't know how many times I have blown dust in my eyes because other guns don't have this. I usually keep it pointed opposite the direction the gun fires. Most of the time this will keep the dust away from me, but when it doesn't, I can just turn it. It shoots up to 2 1/8" but I have never gone that extra 1/8" because everyone else's guns only shoot up to 2". The one downfall is that at certain angles the nails will not set all the way. Milwaukee could fix this by allowing the depth adjuster to go a little further, but for now this is something we have to live with. I have learned how to avoid this is most cases, but for when I cant, I always carry my Spring Tools nail set with me.

Pros
Quality, Weight, Swivel belt hook, Rear air deflector
Cons
At certain angles the nails sometimes don't set.
